Best Student Paper Award Winner at the 2021 AACBT National Conference
Congratulations to our lab member Danielle Fynn for winning the ‘Best Student Paper Award’ at the 2021 National Conference of the Australian Association for Cognitive and Behaviour Therapy. Danielle won the award for her presentation of a paper from her PhD work, titled ‘Validity and Reliability of the Perth Alexithymia Questionnaire in Adults with Acquired Brain Injury’. This study reported on the first psychometric validation of any alexithymia questionnaire for use with samples with a brain injury, opening up excellent new possibilities for the assessment of emotion processing problems in neuropsychology settings. Well done Danielle for your excellent paper and presentation!
